Clare Hall Overview

Clare Hall is situated in the village of Ston Easton, 3 miles from Midsomer Norton and 12 miles from both Bristol and Bath providing care for the elderly. Clare Hall was originally a private house, built in the 18th Century and converted to a nursing home in 1986.

An extension was added in the 1990s to create a well-equipped home for elderly residents, at the end of a tree-lined drive.

The Home comprises of an older house with a modern extension and is set in large, attractive and well maintained grounds. The grounds are laid out to allow access to everyone.

The current registration is for up to 50 residents but we currently care for 33 residents.

Our registration extends to enable us to care for up to five people aged between 40 and 64 years who are physically disabled.

Our Residents

Our residents find Clare Hall a delightful place to relax. They can choose from one of our well furnished lounges, bright conservatories, or simply enjoy the comfort of their own rooms. In summer the extensive gardens provide another option.

We arrange everything from arts and crafts to exercise and reminiscence discussions. We also encourage our residents to continue with their own hobbies and interests.

We know how important it is to keep in touch with friends and family, so guests are always welcome.
