Our Facilities

The home has 50 single rooms. 17 single rooms have ensuite facilities and 12 are located on the first floor. The house has five large single rooms on the ground floor and the Wing has 34 single rooms.

The wing also has two lounges / dining room and the House has a lounge and conservatory. Several of our group activities take place here, and they are also a place for residents to catch up, watch television, or simply spend some quiet time.

Tea, Coffee and Cold Drinks are readily available throughout the day in extension to morning coffee, afternoon tea and a meal service we are particularly proud of.

Personal laundry is catered for on site seven days a week and we aim to return items within 24 hours A maintenance team is also available to hang photos, repair items or change light bulbs to name a few services.

Grounds and Gardens

Clare Hall has extensive grounds, reachable from each of the lounges.

The gardens are accessible for wheelchair users with a water feature, sensory gardens, a greenhouse and several seating areas including patios - perfect for residents to sit and enjoy the good weather.

Residents can choose to participate in the gardening if they wish.

Philosophy of Care

Clare Hall aims to provide it's Service Users with a secure, relaxed, and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort is of prime importance.

Carers will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all Service Users within a warm and caring atmosphere, and in so doing will be sensitive to the Service Users' ever-changing needs. Such needs may be medical / therapeutic (for physical or mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual and social, and Service Users are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualized Care Plan in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued.
